Conference marking 40 Years of Casal de' Pazzi

The site within the Pleistocene Archaeo-Paleontological framework between 400.000 and 40.000 BP: Current knowledge and new research perspectives

Accordia is pleased to support a conference on the Pleistocene deposit of Casal de’ Pazzi which will be hosted in hybrid format in Rome and online from March 30th to April 1st, 2022.  The deposit of Casal de' Pazzi was discovered in 1981 and is among the earliest Pleistocene sites to be scientifically excavated in the Roman countryside. The conference, inspired by recent studies and new methodological approaches, aims to provide an update on the latest research on this important site.
